Senior Systems Analysts / Database Administrators: Perform systems/databases requirement gathering, analysis and specifications, design, develop, testing and implement, modify, customize, integration, deployment, validation, management and administration of web-based database systems and applications, including database warehousing, installation and configuration, QA/risk assessment, systems backup and disaster recovery; assist with projects management including IT projects planning, coordination and management, client communication, IT projects technical proposals preparation and presentations, lead and supervise 2 junior analysts and QA in performing above tasks using diversified programming languages, technologies and tools, etc.

Requirements: Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science, IT/Software Engineering, MIS/IS and 5 years progressive experience or suitable combination of education and/or experiences such as a 3-year degree followed by 2 or 3 year postgraduate or master’s degree which together are determined by credential evaluation expert or college professor or admission officer to be equivalent to a 4-year BS degree in the US and 5 years progressive experience. Acceptable suitable related experiences include Software Engineers/Developers, Programmer Analysts, Systems Engineers, Network Engineers/Analysts, SWE QA Analysts/Testers, Web Designers/Developers or related occupations.

Sr. Systems/Programmer Analysts: Lead and supervise 2 junior analysts and QA/Tester in performing analysis, design, development, testing/QA, implementation, configuration, installation, work flow and interface designs, systems deployment, migration & integration, customization and support of diverse and complex client server and web-based software and database systems and applications, web-portals, websites and communications networks, assist with IT Projects management, planning and coordinating; prepare and presentation of IT/SW projects technical documentation and proposals to in-house and external clients using diversified programming languages, technologies and tools, etc.

Suitable related experiences include Software Engineers/Developers, Programmer Analysts, Systems Engineers/Manager, Network Engineers/Administrators, Database Admin/Developers, SWE QA Analysts/ Testers, Web Designers/Developers or related occupations/experiences.

Location: Ellicott City, MD with some domestic travels.

In keeping with Blossoms policy to encourage and reward employees for identifying other talented and qualified individuals for open positions, eligible full-time employees can qualify for a referral bonus. The bonus is based on the following terms and schedule:

A bonus of up to a maximum of $500 is paid to any employee who refers a candidate to Blossom who is hired for any of the permanent, full-time technical and management positions stated above and who remains in Blossom’s employ for at least 1 year. The bonus is paid out in two increment $250 is paid after six months, and the other half after one year.
